The Faith Gabriela Pruden Memorial Scholarship is sponsored by the Westerville Alumni Association. This scholarship was established to honor the memory of 7-year-old Emerson student Faith Pruden and her zest for life. The $2000 Scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating Westerville Central, South, or North senior who will be attending a traditional or non-traditional college studying cosmetology, the arts, culinary studies, or fire fighter schools (all things Faith may have chosen). Applications will be available on the Westerville City Schools website. Watch for the posting in December. Application due date is usually around mid-January
The FFPF Warrior Scholarship encourages graduating seniors attending a Central Ohio School (public or private) who are cancer survivors or are currently coping with a cancer diagnosis to pursue their educational goals. The $1000 Scholarship will be awarded for the first time this year. An active cancer patient does not have to be receiving treatment to qualify. The cancer may be in remission or deemed cured.
